Description
The K2 KONEKT HDPE Outdoor Armored Multi-Tube Fiber Optic Cable is engineered for rugged outdoor networks that demand durability, flexibility, and large fiber counts. It supports up to 144 optical fibers, grouped in color-coded PBT tubes filled with thixotropic gel for excellent water-blocking performance.
The tube assembly is SZ-stranded around a central reinforcement, with dry swelling materials and fiberglass protection added to eliminate moisture ingress. A corrugated steel armor shields against rodents and mechanical shocks, while the black PEHD outer sheath (RAL9005) ensures long-term UV resistance and CPR compliance.
